Dear Inner City resident Congratulations
to John Mar as your new Ward 8 Alderman. And to Arthur Kent
and Sean Chu who will be representing the Progressive Conservative
Party in the next Provincial Election for Calgary Currie and
Buffalo. Now the real work begins and it is imperative that
we, as voters and residents, keep our elected officials on task
and on target.
Over the past six months I’ve spoken with thousands of
Inner City residents about their issues and concerns. Many were
not just civic. In fact to deal effectively with crime, safety,
affordable housing and transportation we will need support from
the Province. We also need someone in the Provincial Government
to ensure that they remain government priorities. We need new
rules. We need new focus. We need real solutions not just promises.
Throwing money at a problem does not make it go away. We need
passion and commitment both of which I have plenty of.
There are other pressing issues that our Provincial government
needs to address before they become worse.
